How To Be Great Person

Assalamualaikum......

Hye......Today, I want to share tips how to be great person. I'm very sure that there nobody in the world who do not want to be a good person. Here, the tips that I have read .

1. Identify what it is that being a good person means to you personally.
Some people think that being a good person is as simple as not doing harm to another, but it is not always about what you don't do, but what you do for others. You might not be a bad person, but are you a good person?
  • Who do you look up to and why? How are they making the world a better place to live in, and how can you do the same?
  • What qualities do you admire in them, and how can you develop the same ones?
  • Think of ways that you can better embody these qualities you admire. Think of how to apply those qualities in your work, creative pursuits, personal relationships, diet and lifestyle.
2. Try to look at the bright side of things.
The Motto of the Christophers says: "It is better to light a single candle than it is to curse the darkness." Be that light. When you see controversy, try to be the one who changes the subject by suggesting solution. Don't state what you would do, but ask everyone to get involved.

3. Accept
Try to accept everyone around you as your brothers and sisters no matter what race, age, sexual orientation, gender identity or culture. Realize that we have feelings, and should be treated with respect.

4. Stop comparing others with yourself.
Try to understand that some have it better than you in life, but at the same time, many have it much worse. When we make ourselves miserable by comparing ourselves with others, we are wasting time and energy that we could use in building our own inner resources.

5. Every day, try to do an act of charity for some one else, even if it's something small.
Even reach out to people who have been cold or indifferent to you. An act of kindness and generosity can go a long way.

6. Be a better listener than talker.
Follow what the person is saying, and confirm this with a follow up question on the topic, then they will know that you're paying attention to them.

7. Love yourself.
Practice unconditional self acceptance. It is a lot easier to love others, but first you have to have confidence and love yourself. You can do this by going out in the community and offering small acts of charity, then gradually increasing them a little at a time. Do not try to do too much at once, but take it in baby steps. You will start to be a better person when you can put a smile on someone's face and make his or her day, and it will make yours as well. It has been said that it's in giving that we receive.

Okayyyy.....That all from me.... I hope this tips will be able to help you to become a great person.
See you in next entry.....

My collections

Assalamualaikum...

Hye.....I love to read novels. Every time I go to book store, it would be compulsory I bought novel. I share my hobby with my sister. She also love to read novel during her free time. Last week, I had bought 3 novel but I did not read all the novel yet. I have a lot of work to do..

Everyone have their own hobby. What are benefits of reading novels?

This could also be asked as what are the benefits of noticing people live their lives, of dealing with their dilemmas, going through difficult time and happy times, through periods of dole and delight, being at the horn of a dilemma, dealing with personal loss, injury, instances of personal victory, making hard choices, taking difficult decisions, trying to keep things simple, trying to keep both ends together, going through trials and tribulations of their circumstances, being in love, raising families, being ambitious, working hard, living, dying, performing unimaginable feats of courage and forbearance, then falling for simple things and rising again after each fall.

The drama that this life is, is being played all around us, everywhere, but do we notice? I think novels do the seeing and gathering life for us, capture just that. They bring to you, encapsulated in a nutshell, the life, the life that all too often we fail to notice, the life that remains for most of us too scattered in the winds of times at place too far away for us to reach.

When we are mature adults, we know that difference between fact and fiction, then novels can add to our reality fantastically well what reality itself we might find missing.
